Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to support business growth in the General Insurance segment. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, promoting insurance products, and achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate has experience in sales and enjoys working in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, prospecting, and direct sales activities.
Promote and sell general insurance products, including motor, health, and travel insurance.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to support customer satisfaction and retention.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams regarding policy issuance, renewals, and customer support.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and business opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and renewal opportunities to maximize conversions.
Stay informed about insurance products, market trends, and industry developments.
Qualifications
Required
Experience in sales, business development, customer acquisition, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
Good negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage sales targets.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1–5 years of experience in general insurance, banking, financial services, or a related industry.
Knowledge of general insurance products and industry practices.
