Primary Responsibilities1. Patient Registration (OPD & IPD)
- Register new OPD and IPD patients in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Verify patient identity and required documents.
- Generate UHID/MRD numbers for new patients.
- Update patient demographics and contact details.
2. OPD Management
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm doctor appointments.
- Manage OPD queue and patient flow.
- Coordinate with consultants regarding appointment timings.
- Guide patients to the respective consultation rooms and departments.
- Inform patients about consultation fees and required investigations.
3. IPD Admission & Discharge
- Process patient admissions efficiently.
- Complete admission documentation and consent forms.
- Coordinate room/bed allocation with the nursing department.
- Inform the billing and admission departments regarding admissions.
- Assist patients during discharge and coordinate with billing for final clearance.
- Ensure discharge documents are handed over to patients.
4. Billing & Payment
- Generate OPD consultation bills.
- Coordinate IPD advance deposits and billing.
- Collect payments and issue receipts.
- Guide patients regarding insurance, TPA, and cashless procedures (if applicable).
- Coordinate with the finance department for billing queries.
5. Patient Coordination
- Welcome patients and visitors professionally.
- Provide information regarding hospital services.
- Assist patients in locating departments such as Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, ICU, OT, and Wards.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and support departments.
6. Telephone & Communication
- Attend incoming calls professionally.
- Handle appointment inquiries.
- Transfer calls to relevant departments.
- Record and forward messages accurately.
7. Documentation
- Maintain admission and discharge registers.
- Maintain OPD appointment records.
- Ensure all patient records are complete and accurate.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

9. Patient Experience
- Handle patient complaints politely.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Front Office Manager/Administration.
- Ensure a smooth patient journey from registration to discharge.
- Maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times.
10. Compliance
- Follow hospital SOPs and NABH guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ensure proper grooming and professional behavior.
- Follow duty rosters, attendance, and hospital policies.

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Hospital Administration or Front Office (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital front office (Freshers may also apply).
Pay: ₹8,597.79 - ₹24,002.73 per month
