Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our team in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, selecting materials, and coordinating with the execution team to ensure projects are completed according to the approved design.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, budget, and lifestyle needs.
Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, ceiling plans, elevations, and detailed drawings.
Create 3D designs, renders, mood boards, and material presentations.
Select suitable materials, finishes, colours, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Prepare quotations, BOQs, and material specifications in coordination with the project team.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, vendors, and other team members.
Conduct site visits and ensure execution is as per approved drawings and specifications.
Make necessary design modifications based on site conditions and client requirements.
Present designs to clients and incorporate feedback professionally.
Maintain project timelines and coordinate with the team to meet deadlines.
Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and products.
Ensure quality, functionality, aesthetics, and budget requirements are maintained throughout the project.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in interior design preferred.
Freshers with good design skills and a strong portfolio may also apply.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray/Corona, Photoshop, or similar design software.
Strong understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, finishes, and space planning.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good site coordination and problem-solving skills.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of local suppliers and materials in Kerala will be an advantage.
