JOB TITLE: Junior Data Engineer
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 6 Months - 1 Year
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer who has good hands-on knowledge in Python, PySpark and SQL. The person should be willing to learn and grow in the data engineering space. Experience with Azure is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write Python and PySpark code for data processing and transformation
- Work with SQL to query, clean and manage data
- Support the team in building and maintaining data pipelines
- Assist in data validation and making sure data quality is good
- Learn and work with tools used in the data engineering environment
- Work closely with senior team members on projects
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good knowledge of Python and PySpark
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Basic understanding of data pipelines and data processing
- Good learning attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly
GOOD TO HAVE
- Basic experience or exposure to Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or Azure Blob Storage)
