Job Overview
The Civil Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and maintaining billing records for construction projects. They ensure accurate measurement of work executed, timely submission of bills, and coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams to streamline project finances.
Core Responsibilities
Prepare RA Bills, Final Bills, Extra Item Bills, and Variation Claims.
Verify site quantities from approved drawings, BOQ, and joint measurements.
Coordinate with Site, Planning, QA/QC, Stores, and Client/PMC for bill certification.
Prepare quantity abstracts, measurement sheets, and material reconciliation statements.
Ensure all supporting documents (RFI, MIR, WIR, Inspection Reports, Test Certificates, MTCs, etc.) are available before billing.
Upload billing documents on client portals (e.g., RIL, Oberoi, BIM 360/ACC, Aconex) and complete the required online checklists.
Track bill status, certification, deductions, recoveries, and payment follow-up.
Maintain billing MIS, monthly billing targets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
Resolve client billing observations and ensure timely certification.

Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience
- 2–5 Years.
- Construction billing and quantity surveying.
Required Skills
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, BOQ, and contract terms.
· Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Excel etc.
· Analytical Ability: Accuracy in measurement, estimation, and reconciliation.
· Communication Skills: Effective coordination with site teams, clients & vendors.
· Problem Solving: Ability to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.
