English / Science / Social Studies Teacher
The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher should inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning while following the school's curriculum and policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons based on the prescribed curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching methods, technology, and interactive activities to enhance learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Student Assessment
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress reports.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial assistance.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and mutual respect among students.
- Ensure effective classroom organization and time management.
Subject-Specific Responsibilities
English Teacher
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and communication skills.
- Encourage literature appreciation, creative writing, and language proficiency.
Science Teacher
- Teach scientific concepts through practical demonstrations, experiments, and inquiry-based learning.
- Promote scientific thinking, observation, and analytical skills.
- Ensure laboratory safety and proper use of equipment where applicable.
Social Studies Teacher
- Teach history, geography, civics, economics, and related social sciences.
- Encourage awareness of current affairs, citizenship, and global perspectives.
- Develop students' research, analytical, and map-reading skills.
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum delivery.
Professional Development
- Attend workshops, training programmes, and professional development activities.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and subject knowledge.
- Contribute positively to the school's academic and extracurricular programmes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the relevant subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or as required by local regulations).
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
