About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Hostel Warden (Male/Female) to manage and supervise the hostel facilities provided to students enrolled in our Skill Development Centre.
Students will be coming from different cities/areas to attend skill-development courses. The warden will be responsible for maintaining a safe, disciplined, clean and supportive residential environment for the students.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage the day-to-day operations of the hostel.
● Supervise students and maintain proper discipline within the hostel.
● Maintain student attendance, entry/exit and accommodation records.
● Monitor students' daily routines and ensure compliance with hostel rules.
● Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of rooms, washrooms and common areas.
● Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other support staff whenever required.
● Address students' basic complaints and day-to-day hostel-related concerns.
● Report serious disciplinary issues or emergencies to the management immediately.
● Keep regular communication with the Skill Development Centre regarding student attendance, discipline and important concerns.
● Ensure students follow hostel timings and rules.
● Monitor visitors and maintain appropriate visitor/entry records.
● Ensure proper care of hostel facilities, furniture and other company property.
● Assist students in case of basic emergencies and immediately inform management/appropriate support when required.
● Maintain a respectful, safe and positive environment for all students.
● Perform any other hostel-related responsibilities assigned by management.
Eligibility & Requirements
● Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate candidates will be preferred.
● Previous experience as a Hostel Warden, Hostel Supervisor, Caretaker, PG Manager or similar role will be preferred.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
● Responsible, disciplined and trustworthy personality.
● Ability to handle students patiently and professionally.
● Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
● Basic knowledge of mobile/computer applications will be an advantage.
● Candidates must be willing to stay at the hostel, as accommodation will be provided by the company.
