Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise electrical site execution, coordinate with project teams and contractors, and ensure timely and quality completion of electrical works.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in site execution, electrical billing, BOQ preparation, panel installation, basic AutoCAD, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day electrical site execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and other project teams for smooth site execution.
- Prepare and review BOQs, material requirements, quantity estimates, and measurements.
- Handle electrical billing, including contractor bills, measurements, quantity verification, and certification support.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, SLDs, and technical specifications.
- Have practical knowledge of electrical panels, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Use AutoCAD at a basic level for reviewing drawings, layouts, and making minor modifications.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment at site to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with civil, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other services to avoid site-level clashes and delays.
- Track project progress and report site issues, material requirements, and execution status to management.
- Check measurements and maintain proper site records, including DPRs, quantity sheets, and work progress reports.
- Ensure electrical works are executed within the approved BOQ, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in electrical site execution.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical project execution and site management.
- Hands-on experience in billing, BOQ preparation, quantity measurement, and estimation.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of electrical panels and associated installation works.
- Strong site coordination and contractor management skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites in Gurgaon / Sohna, Haryana.
