Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Federal Recruiter to support end-to-end recruitment for government and defense-related positions. The role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for federal contracts, including roles requiring security clearances. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle recruiting, strong sourcing abilities, and familiarity with federal hiring processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Source candidates for federal and defense roles, including positions requiring security clearances (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI)
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
- Utilize job boards, professional networks, and sourcing tools to identify talent
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and workforce needs
- Conduct initial candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and clearance eligibility
- Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Ensure compliance with federal hiring guidelines and organizational recruitment policies
- Support onboarding and hiring documentation processes as needed
- Maintain market awareness of talent availability and hiring trends in the federal space
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–10+ years of recruiting experience (federal or defense recruiting preferred)
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with security clearance processes (preferred)
- Experience using ATS systems and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for government contractors or federal agencies
- Knowledge of cleared talent recruitment (Secret / TS / TS/SCI)
- Familiarity with technical or IT-related roles
- Experience working in compliance-driven hiring environments
