Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Sr. DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure automation. You will also be responsible for building comprehensive observability solutions, optimizing cloud costs, and implementing security and compliance best practices.
You will work closely with development, security, and platform teams to ensure highly available and secure infrastructure while leveraging enterprise-approved AI tools to improve engineering productivity and automate repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Manage cloud environments primarily using Azure and Kubernetes, with exposure to AWS/GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Design and manage cloud networking, virtual networks, and container orchestration platforms.
- Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain observability solutions using Datadog, Prometheus, or similar monitoring platforms.
- Automate the deployment of monitors, dashboards, alerts, and observability configurations using Terraform.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to implement cloud security and compliance standards.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, policy-as-code, and compliance validation.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and FinOps.
- Design resilient infrastructure with appropriate disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Define and support Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and reliability engineering practices.
- Implement GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD, Flux, or similar platforms.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, monitoring, and performance issues.
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP cloud services.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, particularly AKS or similar managed Kubernetes services.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, virtual networks, and container orchestration.
- 3+ years of experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability platforms.
- Experience automating monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and infrastructure observability.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of cloud security controls and compliance automation.
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience implementing GitOps using Argo CD, Flux, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, automated security scanning, vulnerability management, policy-as-code, and compliance validation.
- Experience designing highly available and resilient cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, reliability engineering, and SLOs.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Terraform Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, CKA, or CKAD are preferred.
