- Arrivals & Departures: Welcome guests warmly, verify identities, issue room keys, and process check-ins and check-outs.
- Inquiries: Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person questions regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Issue Resolution: Listen to guest complaints or concerns and resolve them promptly and professionally.
Administrative Operations
- Reservations: Manage room bookings, modifications, and cancellations using hotel management software.
- Billing & Cashiering: Prepare guest invoices, process payments, handle cash, and balance the cash drawer at the end of a shift.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, updated guest records and daily logs. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Housekeeping: Relay information about room status (e.g., ready, occupied, or requires deep cleaning).
- Maintenance: Report facility issues or repair requests promptly so rooms remain in top condition.
