We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SolidWorks Drafter to join our Engineering – Global Support team.
Role: SolidWorks Drafter
Location: Chengalpattu, Chennai
Work Mode: On-Site
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Joining: Immediate to 30 Days
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
- Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Update and modify existing designs based on engineering changes
- Generate BOMs and engineering documentation
- Coordinate with design engineers and project teams
- Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation
- Support engineering projects and global design requirements
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Part Modeling, Assembly Modeling & Drafting)
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Drawings and GD&T
- Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
- Experience in BOM preparation and document management
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documents
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility
- BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in SolidWorks drafting and design
- Experience in engineering support or manufacturing environments preferred.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
