The Director – Product Delivery is responsible for supporting the VP of Line of Business and the Client Partner, along with helping to manage the company’s overall delivery interaction with client accounts. The emphasis is on ensuring that day-to-day client deliverables are handled with professionalism and knowledge, leading to a positive client response and delivery. This role requires the ability to learn and adapt quickly, solve problems both collectively and independently, and view business problems strategically. Individuals need to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact from Simplify Healthcare to work with the client’s project management person/team.
- Lead internal/external kick-off meetings and facilitate the client discovery phase of projects along with Product Consultants, Business Analysts, and Client Partners.
- Create project plans based on discovery discussions and documentation, with assistance from Product Consultants and Business Analysts.
- Act as the primary interface for all customer communications — project planning, schedules, milestones, status reports, and overall organization of project-related artefacts.
- Present standard status reports to the client with precise and correct information sourced from various tools and conversations, including project hygiene, sprint/release status, estimated vs. actual efforts, RAID, and query logs.
- Create and track implementation budget forecasts and spend throughout the implementation timeline, and monitor revenue forecasts in partnership with the Scrum Master.
- Supervise incident management, change controls, problem management, and scope management from discussions through approvals, working with the Scrum Master and Product Consultant to execute.
- Lead and guide the cross-functional team — including product solutions, development, quality assurance, and scrum master — to ensure effectiveness of implementation.
- Help clients and internal resources prioritize deliverables in times of conflicting demands.
- Raise purchase orders.
- 10–15 years of total experience across Information Technology (products/services), Project Implementation and Optimization, on-shore/off-shore team structure models, and Agile software development.
- Proven experience in overseeing technology initiatives encompassing application development, Azure, SQL, .NET, and React.js.
- Flexible with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.
- Ability to work with Account Teams, Customers, Service Delivery, and Operations.
