We are looking for an experienced Shirt Tailoring Master who can independently handle shirt pattern making, fabric cutting, stitching supervision, and quality control for premium men’s shirts.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop shirt patterns for different sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL).
- Calculate fabric consumption and prepare cutting plans.
- Perform accurate fabric marking and cutting.
- Supervise stitching operations and guide tailors.
- Ensure proper collar, cuff, placket, pocket, yoke, and sleeve construction.
- Check garment measurements and fitting.
- Maintain quality standards throughout production.
- Reduce fabric wastage and improve production efficiency.
- Train and support junior tailors and helpers.
- Ensure all finished garments meet company quality requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in men’s shirt manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of shirt construction and garment measurements.
- Experience with linen, cotton, viscose, and blended fabrics.
- Ability to create patterns and grading for multiple sizes.
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and garment production processes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
