The Factory Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects of a manufacturing facility. This includes cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting. The Factory Accountant ensures accurate and timely financial information for decision-making and compliance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations within the factory.
- Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
- Maintain and analyze inventory records, ensuring accuracy and proper valuation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
- Conduct internal audits and implement necessary controls.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Supervise and train accounting staff.
- Should have experience of Patty Cash.
