Ellora Logistics Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented **Import & Export Pricing Coordinator** to join our freight forwarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining competitive freight rates from shipping lines and vendors, preparing customer quotations, negotiating pricing, and following up with customers to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate import and export pricing for sea freight shipments.
* Obtain freight rates and service details from shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
* Negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines and service providers.
* Prepare accurate and timely quotations for customers based on their shipping requirements.
* Follow up with customers on quotations to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, customers, and overseas partners.
* Monitor market freight trends and update pricing accordingly.
* Coordinate with the operations and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
* Maintain records of quotations, rate contracts, and customer communications.
* Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries while maintaining a high level of service.
## Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics (Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply).
* Good understanding of import and export documentation and freight forwarding processes.
* Knowledge of shipping line pricing, freight negotiations, and quotation preparation.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple customer inquiries.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills. ## Preferred Skills
* Experience in sea freight pricing (FCL/LCL).
* Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
* Customer-focused approach with excellent follow-up skills.
* Ability to build long-term business relationships.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
