Job Summary
SPD Constructions Limited is looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Civil to supervise and coordinate civil construction activities for high-rise building and industrial building projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in site execution, drawing interpretation, quality control, material planning, and coordination with contractors and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure proper execution at site.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements at site.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly progress reports and update management on project progress.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure required quality standards and inspection procedures are followed.
- Identify and resolve site-level technical and execution-related issues in coordination with the concerned teams.
- Assist in quantity estimation, material planning, measurements, and verification of executed work.
- Ensure timely availability and proper utilization of construction materials.
- Monitor project activities against planned schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper quality, safety, housekeeping, and work practices.
- Maintain site documentation, inspection records, checklists, measurements, and other project-related reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to supervisors, junior engineers, and site workers.
- Coordinate with project management and other departments to achieve project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
- Candidates must have relevant experience in High-Rise Building and/or Industrial Building Construction.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, BBS, structural works, finishing works, and general civil construction activities.
- Ability to independently handle day-to-day site execution and coordinate with contractors and project teams.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
