ABOUT THE ROLE
We're not looking for someone who just “cuts videos.”
We need a visual storyteller — someone who feels the hook before it lands, knows exactly where the beat should drop, when the font should pop, and why that one tiny SFX makes someone stop mid-scroll and say, “Wait… what was that?”
You understand internet attention spans, trending audios, meme timing, transitions, pacing, and the science of making people pause mid-scroll.
You turn raw footage into reels that feel fun, fast, addictive, and follow-worthy.
You'll be working on a project unlike anything the Indian internet has seen. It has a personality. It has opinions. It might even have a favourite food.
We're not ready to reveal it yet. But if you've ever thought “I could make that go viral” — this is your room. From day one.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
. Concept, shoot, and edit short-form content (Reels, Shorts,) that feels addictive and binge-worthy
. Understand pacing, transitions, audio timing, and meme culture at an instinctive level
. Stay ahead of trending audios, formats, and hooks — and adapt them with a unique brand voice
. Build a consistent content calendar and manage posting across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and more
. Write captions and scripts that match the brand's personality — punchy, sharp, and scroll-stopping
. Experiment relentlessly: A/B test hooks, formats, and thumbnails to find what works
. Use AI tools (CapCut AI, Runway, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up workflow without losing the human feel
. Collaborate directly with the team on creative direction and brand storytelling
YOU'RE THE ONE IF YOU...
. Can spot a scroll-stopper in the first 2 seconds — and build one from scratch
. Know why some reels go viral and others die at 200 views (and you can explain it)
. Have a portfolio of short-form content you've made — even if it's just for fun or college
. Are fluent in CapCut, VN, Premiere, or any editing tool you swear by.
. Understand hook → value → CTA without needing it explained
. Think in formats: carousels, talking heads, B-roll montages, meme cuts, POV content. .
. Are already using AI tools to make content faster, not just lazier
. Get excited by briefs with zero constraints and a blank canvas
GOOD TO HAVE
Experience managing social accounts (not just making content for them)
Understanding of Instagram / YouTube analytics and what the numbers mean
Familiarity with Meta Ads or boosting posts
Background in Mass Media, Multimedia, Journalism, or Design
