Production Supervisor – Fabric Doll Manufacturing
Location: Ooty, Nilgiris
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
The Good Doll is looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to manage our day-to-day manufacturing operations in Ooty.
You will be responsible for converting production requirements into daily production plans and manpower rosters, managing our in-house and home-based producers, tracking daily output and ensuring that weekly and monthly production targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily production plans and manpower rosters
- Allocate work based on production priorities, producer skills and capacity
- Manage daily attendance and manpower availability
- Manage and coordinate both in-house and home-based producers
- Track daily production Plan vs Actual
- Monitor process-wise, SKU-wise and producer-wise output
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action
- Track WIP and ensure smooth movement between production processes
- Coordinate with QC to manage quality, rejection and rework
- Monitor producer productivity and capacity
- Plan manpower requirements based on upcoming production needs
- Take ownership of daily, weekly and monthly production targets
- Maintain accurate production MIS and report performance to management
Who We're Looking For
- Experience in production/manufacturing operations
- Strong production planning and people-management skills
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and production data
- Good at planning, follow-up and problem-solving
- Able to manage multiple production processes simultaneously
- Comfortable working both on the production floor and with numbers/MIS
- Experience in garments, textiles, toys, handicrafts or labour-intensive manufacturing is an advantage

We're looking for someone who can bring planning, discipline and predictability to a growing production operation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
