Sales Officer
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Officer is responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales calls, converting company-generated leads into customers, and achieving assigned sales targets through telecalling and virtual sales coordination. The role focuses on customer interaction, sales closing, follow-ups, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring a professional sales process.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Closing & Target Achievement:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company.
- Convert company-provided leads into successful sales through effective telecalling and follow-ups.
- Maintain a strong conversion ratio and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Work in a target-oriented sales environment with performance-based evaluation.
Customer Handling & Relationship Management:
- Communicate with potential customers through phone calls, WhatsApp, and online platforms.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product/service solutions.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers for repeat business and referrals.
- Handle customer objections and ensure proper sales closure.
Lead Management:
- Follow up on leads generated by the company through marketing campaigns, enquiries, and references.
- Maintain regular communication with interested customers until the sales process is completed.
- Update lead status and customer interaction details in the CRM system.
Sales Coordination:
- Coordinate with the operations and customer support teams for smooth order processing and service delivery.
- Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding products, pricing, offers, and delivery timelines.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit daily call reports, follow-up reports, and sales updates to the reporting manager.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in the CRM/software system.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year telecalling or inside sales experience is compulsory.
- Experience in sales closing and customer handling is mandatory.
- Fluency in Malayalam and English is preferred.
- Ability to achieve targets in a performance-driven environment.
