Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator with hands-on experience in wooden furniture and interior manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines for cutting, drilling, routing, and engraving wooden boards and ensuring accurate production as per drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Router / CNC Wood Cutting Machine for furniture and interior components.
- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings and CNC cutting layouts.
- Operate the machine as per approved designs and production requirements.
- Load and unload MDF, plywood, particle board, laminate and other wooden materials.
- Set machine parameters, tools, cutting depth, speed and feed.
- Perform tool changing and basic machine setting.
- Check dimensions and accuracy of finished components.
- Identify and rectify basic machine/operator-level issues.
- Ensure minimum material wastage during production.
- Maintain proper machine cleanliness and housekeeping.
- Follow 5S, safety and production quality standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Design and Quality teams.
- Maintain daily production records and report machine issues to the supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CNC Router / CNC Woodworking Machine.
- Good knowledge of MDF, plywood, particle board and laminate.
- Ability to understand AutoCAD drawings and cutting patterns.
- Knowledge of CNC tools, bits, drilling and routing operations.
- Basic knowledge of CNC software/programs will be an advantage.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and measuring tape.
- Good attention to dimensions and finishing quality.
Qualification:
ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification preferred.
