Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Financials, including implementation, configuration, reporting, integrations, and production support. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, support, and enhance Workday Financials.
- Configure Workday Finance modules, business processes, and security roles.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting incidents and resolving system issues.
- Manage system enhancements, releases, upgrades, testing, and deployments.
- Design and develop Workday reports and support ad hoc reporting requests.
- Build and support integrations between Workday and external applications.
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and change management standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Workday Finance.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials implementation and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes.
- Experience with Workday Reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and XPath.
- Experience with APIs and Web Services.
- Strong stakeholder management and business requirements gathering skills.
- Experience in at least one full end-to-end Workday Financials implementation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL and Change Management processes.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
