Ensure all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, laundry, and fire safety systems function efficiently.

Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational breakdowns.

Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to hotel standards.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.

Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment.

Minimize equipment downtime through effective maintenance planning.

Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history.

Supervise engineering associates and external contractors.

Conduct departmental briefings and training sessions.

Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and task allocation.

Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional conduct within the department.

Ensure compliance with fire, life safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Maintain all statutory certifications, licenses, and documentation.

Conduct emergency drills and safety inspections regularly.

Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, chemicals, and equipment.

Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.

Maintain efficient operation of electrical and water systems.

Support sustainability and cost-control initiatives.

Prepare departmental budgets and control maintenance expenses.

Maintain inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, AMC services, and repairs.

Ensure proper documentation, reports, and service records are maintained.

Ensure prompt resolution of guest maintenance complaints.

Coordinate with operational departments to minimize guest inconvenience during repairs.

Support overall guest satisfaction through efficient facility management.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).

Minimum 4–6 years of engineering experience in hospitality operations.

Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of hotel maintenance systems and equipment.

Familiarity with fire & life safety systems and statutory compliance.
