Job Summary
Ferracore Control is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and be proficient in accounting software. The candidate will work closely with the Accounts Head to support the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare GST invoices, E-way Bills, and maintain tax records.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and audit schedules.
- Maintain fixed asset and inventory records.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, vendors, and customers regarding financial matters.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of bank reconciliations, ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering company.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and project costing.
- Familiarity with ERP software is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
