Key Responsibilities:
- Service Excellence: Greet guests, present menus, make recommendations, and handle payments.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train waitstaff, organizing duty rosters.
- Operations Oversight: Manage dining room flow, coordinate with the kitchen for timely service, and resolve guest complaints immediately.
- Compliance & Inventory: Monitor inventory levels, handle stock checks (cutlery/glassware), and enforce health and safety SOPs.
- Guest Interaction: Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Generally 2-3 years of experience in a similar, supervisory role in a restaurant or hotel.
- Leadership: Ability to lead a team and maintain calm under pressure.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with food/beverage service standards and POS systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/culinary certification is preferred.
