Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated ICU Assistant Head to support the overall management and smooth functioning of the Intensive Care Unit. The candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage ICU operations while ensuring high standards of patient care and team coordination.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Assist the ICU Head in day-to-day ICU operations and administration.
- • Supervise and coordinate ICU nursing staff and support teams.
- • Ensure quality patient care by maintaining clinical protocols and hospital standards.
- • Monitor staff scheduling, duty rosters, and shift management.
- • Handle emergency situations efficiently and provide clinical guidance when required.
- • Ensure compliance with NABH/quality standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- • Coordinate with doctors, consultants, and other departments for smooth patient management.
- • Conduct staff training, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
- • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and ICU records.
- • Support inventory management of ICU equipment, medicines, and consumable

Preferred Qualifications :
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (M.Sc. Nursing preferred).
- • Minimum 5–8 years of ICU experience.
- • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- • Knowledge of ICU protocols, emergency care, infection control, and quality standards.
