Job Summary
ATCO Gases is looking for an experienced and proactive **Assistant Manager – HR** to manage end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on **payroll, statutory compliance, and factory HR administration**. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in payroll processing, labour law compliance, employee lifecycle management, and coordinating with manufacturing units to ensure full statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation
* Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing with 100% accuracy.
* Ensure timely salary processing, reimbursements, incentives, and final settlements.
* Coordinate with finance for payroll inputs and salary disbursement.
* Maintain payroll records and MIS reports.
Statutory Compliance
* Handle PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory compliances.
* Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of statutory registers.
* Coordinate with government authorities during inspections.
* Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory regulations.
Factory HR Compliance
* Manage factory-related HR documentation and compliance.
* Ensure compliance under the Factories Act and applicable labour laws.
* Maintain attendance, leave records, contractor compliance, and manpower records.
* Coordinate with plant HR and factory management for audits and inspections.
HR Operations
* Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
* Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, and relieving documents.
* Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
* Handle attendance, leave management, and HRMS updates.
Employee Relations
* Address employee grievances and maintain healthy employee relations.
* Ensure implementation of HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
* Support employee engagement and welfare initiative
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Coordinate hiring activities for corporate and plant positions.
* Manage onboarding formalities and employee induction.
MIS & Reporting
* Prepare monthly HR dashboards and management reports.
* Maintain HR records, compliance trackers, and payroll reports.
* Support management with HR analytics and compliance updates
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of payroll processing.
* Excellent understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
* Hands-on experience in PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, PT, LWF, and Factory Compliance.
* Knowledge of the Factories Act and labour regulations.
* Experience handling HR operations in a manufacturing environment.
* Good knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS software.
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
Qualifications
* MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, MHRM, or equivalent.
* Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Experience
* **5–8 years** of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Statutory Compliance.
* Experience in manufacturing, industrial gases, chemicals, engineering, or factory-based organizations will be preferred.
## Preferred Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
* Strong exposure to factory HR and labour law compliance.
* Ability to independently manage HR operations and compliance activities.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
* Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
