We are seeking a high-energy, versatile professional to join our team in a dual-capacity role that bridges High-Volume Recruitment and Delivery Operations Coaching. You will be responsible for sourcing the next fleet of Amazon/FedEx delivery drivers and ensuring their ongoing safety and operational success.
Job Details
- Job Title: US Recruitment & Operations Specialist (Logistics / Non-IT)
- Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Work from Office)
- Shift: Monday to Friday, Night Shift (IST 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM / US Eastern Time)
- Reports To: Operations Manager / DSP Owner
Role Summary
In this fast-paced role, you will manage the full lifecycle of US Delivery Drivers and Helpers. Your time will be split between top-of-funnel talent acquisition (sourcing, high-volume calling, and onboarding candidates) and post-hire performance optimization (analysing safety metrics and coaching active drivers to meet Amazon/FedEx compliance standards).
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Recruitment)
- Sourcing: Post advertisements and source candidates on US platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter) for Driver and Helper roles.
- Screening: Conduct high-volume phone screens to verify baseline requirements (21+ age, valid US Driver’s License, physical capability to lift 50lbs).
- Coordination: Schedule interviews for the US-based onsite team and actively manage pipelines to minimize "no-shows."
- Onboarding: Guide candidates step-by-step through background checks, drug tests, and official Amazon training modules.
2. Performance Coaching & Compliance (Operations)
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyse daily delivery and safety data using client portals (Amazon Cortex, Netradyne).
- Driver Coaching: Conduct virtual coaching sessions for active delivery associates regarding customer service, delivery success rates, and safety violations (e.g., speeding, stop sign violations, distracted driving).
- Documentation: Maintain strict logs of coaching sessions, action plans, and driver progress on required portals.
- Training: Conduct brief training and refresher sessions for both new hires and existing associates.
Critical Skills & Requirements
- Experience:
- 6+ months of experience in US IT or Non-IT Recruitment (High-volume/Logistics preferred).
- 1+ year of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or driver fleet management is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal) with strong phone etiquette tailored for interacting with US candidates and drivers.
- Technical Savvy:
- Proficient with MS Office, Google Sheets, and general applicant tracking workflows.
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn logistics systems like Amazon Cortex, Netradyne, and Amazon Chime.
- Attributes: High-energy, data-driven, capable of working under pressure, and possess a strong understanding of safe driving and compliance standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred; any safety or recruitment certification is a major plus.
- Availability: Absolute willingness to work consistent night shifts to provide live support during USA business hours.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
