Job Title: Deputy Manager - Production

Job Summary:
We're looking for a seasoned production professional to lead our pail and bucket manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in production management, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring on-time delivery and minimizing inventory levels.
2. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards, implementing quality control measures and conducting regular inspections.
3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
4. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, production management)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in production management, preferably in the pail and bucket industry
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S)
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Familiarity with production planning and inventory management software (e.g., ERP, MRP)
- Certification in production management or a related field is a plus
