Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Category Manager to drive category growth, manage vendor relationships, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end category performance and growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities.
- Develop and execute category growth and revenue strategies.
- Onboard and manage vendors, suppliers, and service partners.
- Monitor category sales, margins, and profitability.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day category operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
- Track KPIs, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Improve customer experience through quality and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for category expansion and business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Category Management, Business Operations, Vendor Management, E-commerce, Retail, Procurement, or related domains.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Category planning and growth management experience.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Understanding of market research and customer behavior.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
