About the Role
Inland Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Anaesthesiologist to provide safe and effective anaesthesia services for surgical, obstetric, emergency, and critical care patients. The successful candidate will play a key role in perioperative patient management, pain management, and intensive care support while working closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluations and assess patients' fitness for surgery.
- Administer general, regional, spinal, epidural, and local anaesthesia as appropriate.
- Monitor patients during surgical procedures and ensure safe anaesthetic management.
- Provide post-operative pain management and monitor recovery from anaesthesia.
- Manage airway emergencies, resuscitation, and critically ill patients in OT, ICU, and Emergency.
- Support obstetric anaesthesia services, including Caesarean sections and labour analgesia.
- Participate in trauma and emergency surgeries on an on-call basis.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety protocols, infection control measures, and anaesthesia standards.
- Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, intensivists, nursing staff, and OT personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration.
- Relevant post-qualification experience is preferred
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
