Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Machine Maintenance Engineer for our Plastic Packaging Manufacturing Industry. The candidate should possess strong knowledge in both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown analysis, and ensuring smooth production operations with minimum downtime.
Candidates with prior experience in plastic packaging or manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults in machines and provide immediate solutions.
- Diagnose machine breakdown issues and perform corrective actions effectively.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all production and utility machines.
- Attend emergency maintenance activities during machine failures.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain records related to maintenance activities, spare parts, and machine performance.
- Coordinate with production teams to reduce machine downtime and improve productivity.
- Ensure proper safety standards and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for better efficiency.
Required Skills :
- Knowledge in machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge
- Gearbox, motor, bearing, conveyor, and mechanical assembly maintenance
- Preventive maintenance planning
Electrical Skills :
- Electrical panel troubleshooting
- Knowledge in motors, sensors, contactors, relays, and control systems
- Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Electrical wiring and fault identification
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Candidates should have experience in Plastic Packaging / Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Ability to handle machine breakdowns independently.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
- Nearby candidates from Vyasarpadi and surrounding Chennai locations are highly preferred.
Qualification :
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, EEE, ECE, or related field.
Salary : Best in Industry

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
