Art Teacher
Job Summary
The Art Teacher is responsible for inspiring creativity, imagination, and self-expression in students through engaging art lessons and activities. The role involves teaching various art forms, nurturing artistic talent, and creating a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore their creative potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct art classes according to the school timetable.
* Teach drawing, painting, craftwork, and other creative art activities.
* Encourage and guide students to participate in art competitions, exhibitions, and cultural events.
* Plan and organize creative projects that enhance students' artistic skills.
* Maintain art supplies, materials, and ensure classroom cleanliness and safety.
* Display students' artwork during school functions, exhibitions, and special events.
* Support school programs, celebrations, assemblies, and cultural activities.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Qualifications
* Degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
* Prior teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.
* Additional certifications in art education are an advantage.
