- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, and Fluoroscopy, as per hospital facilities.
- Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
- Review patient history and clinical information before interpreting imaging studies.
- Recommend additional imaging or diagnostic procedures when clinically indicated.
- Perform and supervise ultrasound examinations.
- Carry out image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice.
- Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Follow the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle to minimize radiation exposure.
- Monitor image quality and ensure optimal diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and support patient management.
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions as required.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely radiology records and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of patient information.
- Supervise Radiographers, Radiology Technicians, and other departmental staff.
- Ensure proper functioning of radiology equipment and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and clinical audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, AERB radiation safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.
- Participate in emergency imaging services and provide urgent reporting when required.
- Obtain informed consent for contrast studies and image-guided procedures where applicable.
- Manage and promptly respond to adverse reactions related to contrast administration.
- Participate in teaching, CMEs, departmental meetings, journal clubs, and academic activities.
- Attend on-call duties, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per departmental roster.
Pay: ₹170,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
