About the Role :
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to spearhead our CSR Partnerships and Philanthropic Fundraising function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through corporate CSR collaborations, institutional funding, philanthropic partnerships, and strategic alliances.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of securing large-scale CSR and philanthropic funding, cultivating long-term stakeholder relationships, and leading high-performing teams. This role demands exceptional business development capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate social impact into sustainable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a long-term strategy to expand the organization's CSR, institutional funding, and philanthropic portfolio.
- Identify emerging funding opportunities and position the organization as a preferred implementation partner for corporates, foundations, trusts, and development agencies.
- Establish annual fundraising objectives, revenue forecasts, and growth plans aligned with organizational priorities.
- Drive innovation in fundraising approaches and partnership models.
Corporate Partnerships & Business Development
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with corporate CSR leaders, foundations, family offices, HNIs, multilateral agencies, international donors, and philanthropic institutions.
- Lead end-to-end business development activities, from opportunity identification to partnership closure.
- Represent the organization in high-level meetings, industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure long-term stakeholder engagement.
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
- Lead fundraising initiatives across CSR funding, grants, institutional donors, and philanthropic contributions.
- Develop compelling proposals, concept notes, grant applications, and partnership presentations.
- Maintain a robust fundraising pipeline and ensure timely conversion of opportunities into funded projects.
- Monitor fundraising performance against revenue targets and strategic KPIs.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of approximately 10 fundraising and partnership professionals.
- Establish clear performance metrics and ensure achievement of individual and team objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Support capability building through coaching, training, and regular performance reviews.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Cultivate long-term relationships with funding partners and strategic stakeholders.
- Ensure timely donor reporting, impact communication, and compliance with funding commitments.
- Collaborate closely with program, finance, communications, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality partnership outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on fundraising trends, donor expectations, and partnership opportunities.
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Development Studies, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree (MBA, MSW, Development Management, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in CSR partnerships, institutional fundraising, philanthropy, donor relations, or strategic business development.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value CSR funding and philanthropic partnerships.
- Experience engaging with senior corporate leaders, foundations, trusts, and development agencies.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams of approximately 10 members.
- Established professional network within the CSR, sustainability, social impact, or development ecosystem will be a strong advantage.
