Key Responsibilities
Database & Data Validation
· Perform end-to-end database testing and data quality validation.
· Write and execute complex SQL queries involving:
- Joins
- Aggregations
- Window Functions
- CTEs and Temporary Tables
- Validate stored procedures, triggers, and business transformation logic
- Develop reconciliation queries and repeatable SQL validation scripts.
ETL / Batch Processing Validation
· Test batch processing, ETL/ELT workflows, and synchronization jobs.
· Validate incremental loads, delta processing, and reprocessing scenarios.
· Ensure data consistency and integrity across source and target systems.
Database Concepts
· Working knowledge of:
- Transactions
- Isolation levels
- Locking mechanisms
- Deadlocks
· Ability to identify and troubleshoot database-related issues (DBA-level expertise not required).
Quality Assurance & Defect Management
· Create detailed defect reports with supporting evidence.
· Prepare reusable validation scripts, checklists, runbooks, and test artifacts.
· Participate in incident analysis, root cause investigations, and post-incident corrective actions.
Collaboration & Communication
· Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
· ✔ 8+ years of QA / Data Quality Testing experience with strong database exposure.
· ✔ Advanced SQL expertise.
· ✔ Experience with:
a. Stored Procedures
b. Triggers
c. ETL / ELT Testing
d. Batch Processing
e. Incremental & Delta Loads
f. Data Reconciliation
g. Database Validation
· ✔ Ability to design repeatable validation frameworks and SQL scripts.
✔ Strong analytical and communication skills.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
