Qualifications
- LL.B. (Mandatory)
- Enrolment with the State Bar Council is preferred.
- Additional certifications in Real Estate Laws, Corporate Laws, or Arbitration will be advantageous.
Experience
Manager – Legal
- Minimum 8-10 years in Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure sector.
- Extensive experience in land acquisition, litigation, RERA, and real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Land Acquisition & Title Verification
- Conduct legal due diligence & title verification of land parcels proposed for acquisition.
- Review revenue records, ownership documents, mutation records, sale deeds, lease deeds, and encumbrance certificates.
- Identify legal risks associated with land transactions and provide mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and government authorities for title investigations.
2. Drafting & Vetting of Legal Documents
- Draft, review, negotiate, and vet:
- Conveyance Deeds
- Lease Agreements
- Development Agreements
- Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
- Collaboration Agreements
- Construction Contracts
- Vendor Agreements
- Service Contracts
- Power of Attorney
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
- Employment-related legal documents
- Ensure legal compliance and protection of company interests.
3. Litigation & Dispute Management
- Manage civil, criminal, consumer, labor, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate with external counsels for litigation strategy and case management.
- Prepare legal briefs, replies, notices, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor court proceedings and maintain litigation records.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance with legal requirements.
4. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- RERA
- Companies Act
- Transfer of Property Act
- Registration Act
- Stamp Duty Laws
- Contract Act
- Land Revenue Laws
- Municipal Laws
- Environmental Regulations
- Labor Laws
- Track amendments in applicable laws and advise management accordingly.
5. RERA & Real Estate Compliance
- Handle project registrations under RERA.
- Review disclosures and documentation required under RERA provisions.
- Address customer complaints, notices, and proceedings before RERA authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all project-specific statutory obligations.
6. Government & Authority Liaison
- Liaise with:
- Revenue Authorities
- Development Authorities
- Municipal Corporations
- Registration Offices
- RERA Authorities
- Facilitate approvals and legal documentation related to projects.
8. Legal Documentation Management
- Maintain legal repository of contracts, deeds, approvals, and litigation records.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention practices.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
