Euverify is a UK & Ireland-based compliance SaaS company serving enterprise clients in cosmetics, medical devices, electronics, and consumer goods. Our website is our primary inbound channel, and the person we hire will own it — keeping it fast, well-ranked, and conversion-ready on every page we publish.
About the Role
We're hiring a WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of experience to take full ownership of euverify.com. Two things are non-negotiable:
- Every page you build must follow on-page SEO best practices — schema, semantic HTML, proper heading structure, meta tags, and internal linking.
- Every page must be fast. PageSpeed 90+, Core Web Vitals in the green. No exceptions.
What You'll Do
- Build custom Gutenberg blocks in React for our marketing team
- Ship SEO-optimised landing pages and regulatory content guides
- Own technical SEO across the site — schema markup, sitemaps, and structured data
- Optimise page speed through image compression, lazy loading, caching, and critical CSS
- Maintain and harden the WordPress stack — themes, plugins, hosting, and security
- Translate Figma designs into accessible, responsive, high-performance templates
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of professional WordPress development experience
- Hands-on Gutenberg block development using React and @wordpress/scripts
- Solid PHP 8+, MySQL, and modern JavaScript
- Real technical SEO knowledge — not just plugin configuration
- Proven page-speed work — you should be able to share before/after PageSpeed Insights scores
- Comfortable with Git, Cloudways, and deploying to production
- Good written English — you'll work directly with our UK/Ireland team
