Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website performance optimization. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create custom themes and modify existing themes.
- Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites.
- Optimize website speed, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.
- Perform website backups, updates, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers.
- Ensure websites are compatible across browsers and devices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
- Knowledge of MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce.
- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with Git is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 1–3 years of WordPress development experience (Freshers with strong portfolios may also apply).
- Experience in custom plugin or theme development is an added advantage.
Salary
Salary will be based on skills, experience, and interview performance.
