About the Role
Junior Robo is looking for passionate and energetic Mental Math Teachers who can conduct engaging online classes for students based in the United States. The ideal candidate should have strong mental math skills, experience teaching children, and the flexibility to work during US time zones (late India hours).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online Mental Math classes for students aged 6–16 years.
- Teach concepts such as:
- Speed Calculations
- Number Sense
- Arithmetic Strategies
- Multiplication & Division Techniques
- Fractions, Percentages & Decimals
- Logical Reasoning and Problem Solving
- Competitive Mental Math Skills
- Create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Assign practice exercises and track student performance.
- Maintain regular communication with parents when required.
- Ensure classes are conducted professionally and punctually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Strong command of Mental Math techniques and mathematical concepts.
- Prior experience teaching students online is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Comfortable using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or similar tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching international students, especially US-based learners.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for young learners.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and student-focused teaching approach.
- Familiarity with Olympiad Math, Vedic Math, Abacus, or Mental Math programs is an added advantage.
Availability Requirements
- Must be available during US student hours.
- Typical working window: 9:00 PM IST to 2:00 AM IST [midnight] and/or 5:00 AM IST to 9:00 AM IST (depending on student schedules and US time zones).
- Flexible availability on weekdays and weekends is preferred.
