- Lead and motivate employees to conduct daily door-to-door marketing activities for business development.
- Organize monthly customer meets to strengthen customer engagement and relationships.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performers through initiatives such as “Best Employee of the Month.”
- Promote healthy competition among branches to improve productivity and operational performance.
- Identify, adopt, and implement successful ideas and practices from internal and external performers.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings to review business performance and discuss operational matters.
- Execute assignments and responsibilities delegated by RM/ZM/Corporate Office.
- Focus on achieving budgets related to NCDs, sub-debts, advances, insurance, and other financial products.
- Enhance company profitability through effective business development initiatives.
- Ensure high employee efficiency and superior customer service standards.
- Educate customers regarding company products including gold loans, NCDs, sub-debts, and insurance services.
- Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by CO/ZM/RM from time to time.
Operations Responsibilities
- Ensure safe handling and transit of cash and gold during branch and zonal transfers.
- Verify and complete all required documentation before loan disbursement.
- Ensure secure custody and maintenance of all loan documents.
- Verify, appraise, and authenticate gold ornaments pledged as loan security.
- Involve staff members in business development and loan recovery activities.
- Supervise and control all sections and operational activities within the branch.
- Conduct regular verification and tallying of cash, gold, and securities.
- Maintain accurate records of vouchers, ledgers, postings, and branch statements.
- Jointly supervise strong room operations and maintain strict access control.
- Monitor branch cash flow and report cash movements promptly to concerned authorities.
- Oversee branch banking operations and company accounts maintained with local banks.
- Reconcile and balance all branch accounts as per prescribed procedures.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and effective internal controls within the branch.
- Supervise safe deposit locker operations wherever applicable.
- Ensure compliance with procedures related to inter-branch and HO fund transfers.
- Verify and validate all incoming and outgoing bills and vouchers.
- Exercise cost control measures in stationery, electricity, internet, and telephone usage.
- Ensure proper maintenance of branch premises, furniture, fixtures, and company assets.
- Ensure timely payment of rent, utility bills, taxes, and renewal of lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements communicated by Corporate Office.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mails and official correspondence promptly.
- Monitor overdue gold loans and initiate timely recovery actions.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, control statements, and returns.
- Rectify audit observations and inspection irregularities promptly and submit compliance reports.
- Perform additional operational responsibilities during staff shortages or exigencies.
- Familiarize and comply with manuals, circulars, and administrative instructions issued by Corporate Office.
- Ensure strict adherence to procedures relating to strong room operations, key custody, cash handling, pledged ornaments, cheque books, and loan documents.
- Adhere to KYC norms and ensure collection of valid customer identification and address proof documents.
- Verify customer signatures and supporting documents for authenticity.
- Ensure compliance with principles and procedures governing gold loan sanctions.
- Scrutinize loan documents, debenture accounts, and related records.
- Conduct regular verification of gold loan packets for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure proper compliance with branch-to-HO fund transfer procedures.
Compliance Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with customer standing instructions related to accounts and interest payments.
- Follow prescribed procedures for opening, operating, and closing NCD, sub-debt, and gold loan accounts.
- Verify authenticity of self-attested KYC documents during gold loan creation.
- Verify authenticity of documents submitted during gold loan closure by customers, nominees, or legal heirs.
- Ensure compliance with company circulars and legal procedures regarding seizure of pledged ornaments by authorities.
- Immediately report notices and communications received from advocates, courts, police, or government departments to Corporate Office.
- Ensure all required translated copies of legal or official communications are forwarded where necessary.
Human Resource Responsibilities
- Guide, train, and supervise Assistant Branch Managers and branch staff members.
- Monitor staff attendance and submit reports to AM/RM/ZM/Corporate Office.
- Allocate duties and responsibilities effectively among employees.
- Provide training and operational guidance to probationers and trainees.
- Rotate staff responsibilities periodically to support employee development and operational flexibility.
- Maintain cordial employee relations and promote productivity within the branch.
- Handle staff administration activities including leave management, salary coordination, PF deductions, and statutory remittances.
- Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses and payment of applicable license fees.
- Undertake additional responsibilities delegated by higher authorities as required.
- Remain subject to internal reviews and performance evaluations conducted periodically.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
