Job Summary
We are looking for a Microbial Process Scientist to develop, optimize, and scale microbial processes for agricultural applications such as biofertilizers, biopesticides, biostimulants, and other microbial-based products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize microbial fermentation and cultivation processes.
- Work on strain screening, maintenance, and microbial culture development.
- Optimize process parameters such as pH, temperature, aeration, agitation, and nutrient media.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze microbial growth and productivity.
- Support scale-up of microbial processes from laboratory to pilot and production scale.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, batch records, and process documentation.
- Monitor product quality, microbial viability, purity, and stability.
- Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Production, and Regulatory teams.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory records and prepare technical reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of microbiology and microbial fermentation.
- Experience with microbial culture techniques and process optimization.
- Understanding of agricultural microbial products.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory practices.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience in biofertilizers, biopesticides, microbial inoculants, fermentation technology, or agricultural biotechnology will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
