Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee our manufacturing facility's infrastructure, manage plant expansions, and design heavy-duty structural foundations for our specialized production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of factory floors, warehouses, and administrative facilities.
- Engineer specialized structural foundations capable of withstanding heavy vibrations from cold-heading presses, thread-rolling machines, and heat-treatment furnaces.
- Conduct regular structural audits of manufacturing units, storage racking systems, and overhead material handling equipment.
- Ensure all construction and facility operations comply with local building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Manage civil contractors, oversee material procurement, track project timelines, and maintain strict budgetary control.
- Collaborate with production and plant engineering teams to optimize shop-floor layouts and streamline internal material flow.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience handling civil infrastructure projects within an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in structural design, geotechnical assessment, and dynamic foundation analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or Revit.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and vendor-negotiation skills.
