About the Role The Finance Analyst role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial records, compliance with company policies, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations.
- Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Support vendor reconciliations and employee reimbursement processes.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability trends.
- Support budgeting and forecast preparation.
- Track key business metrics and financial KPIs.
- Prepare variance analysis reports (Budget vs Actual).
- Assist management with data-driven insights and decision support.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and reports.
Requirements
- Have 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance functions.
- Have experience working with ERP/accounting systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Have exposure to management reporting and business finance analysis.
- Have prior experience in an IT Services or Consulting organization.
Good to Have
- Prior experience in an IT Services or Consulting organization will be an advantage.
