Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Patient Cook to join the food services team at a leading hospital facility in Gandhinagar.
The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality. Candidates with prior experience in hospital catering or healthcare food services will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals as per patient dietary requirements and prescribed menus.
- Ensure food is prepared in accordance with hygiene and hospital safety standards.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Follow instructions from dieticians and kitchen supervisors regarding special diets.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and infection control guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management and stock monitoring when required.
Eligibility Criteria/ Education
- Minimum 10th Pass.
- Relevant culinary training will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cook.
- Experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, institutional catering, or hotel industry preferred.
- Prior experience in preparing patient meals and therapeutic diets will be highly advantageous.
