Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Description
The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer is responsible for creating & supporting secure, scalable, and operationally stable cloud infrastructure environments across Azure and GCP platforms. The role focuses on cloud operations, infrastructure automation, DevOps engineering, and vulnerability remediation within enterprise environments.
The engineer will collaborate with cloud engineering, production support, and infrastructure automation teams to improve operational reliability, deployment automation, and cloud security posture.
Cloud Environment & Platform Scope
- Microsoft Azure (primary platform)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
- Enterprise production, staging, and development cloud environments
- Multi-region cloud infrastructure deployments
- Regulated enterprise cloud ecosystems
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and remediate cloud vulnerabilities and infrastructure issues
- Support secure cloud operations across Azure and GCP environments
- Perform root-cause analysis for operational and infrastructure failures
- Implement scalable and long-term remediation solutions
- Collaborate with cloud engineering and production services teams
- Support cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD initiatives
- Improve cloud operational reliability and deployment efficiency
- Participate in incident management and operational support activities
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure deployments ; Kubernetes
- Support and Create Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance
- Integrate security controls into deployment and automation workflows
- Develop automation scripts using Python and cloud-native tooling
- Support infrastructure standardization and configuration management
Security & Operations
- Support vulnerability remediation and cloud governance initiatives
- Work with Qualys and compliance monitoring platforms
- Remediate:
? Compute vulnerabilities; Manage Kubernetes architecture
? Public access risks
? Storage and IAM security issues
? Infrastructure misconfigurations
- Participate in operational cloud security initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Understanding of cloud security principles and remediation processes
- Experience with Python scripting and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
- Experience working in enterprise production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to regulated or financial services environments
- Experience with Qualys or similar vulnerability management platforms
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud governance practices
- Experience supporting global operational teams
