Job Title: Fire Protection BIM Modeler
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fire Protection BIM Modeler to create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to develop coordinated models and ensure project requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for fire protection systems using Revit.
- Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with MEP disciplines to resolve clashes using Navisworks or other coordination tools.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to produce accurate fire protection layouts.
- Create sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump, and fire alarm models as per project requirements.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, client requirements, and relevant codes.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement design changes.
- Perform quality checks on models and drawings before submission.
- Maintain project documentation and update models throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5+ years of experience in Fire Protection BIM Modeling.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Good understanding of fire protection systems and relevant standards (NFPA, local codes, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Knowledge of clash detection and model coordination.
- Familiarity with BIM Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
