We are looking for a qualified and patient-focused Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The Optometrist will be responsible for examining patients’ eyes, diagnosing vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing guidance on proper eye care. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
- Diagnose vision problems and eye conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
- Perform refraction tests and interpret diagnostic results.
- Detect early signs of eye diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
- Educate patients on eye care, hygiene, and preventive practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update examination reports.
- Work closely with optical staff to ensure proper fitting of lenses and frames.
MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
