As we execute our roadmap to scale our operations and comfortably manage well over 100 active client accounts, we are building a formidable bench of freelance developers, media buyers, and creatives. To ensure flawless execution, we need a highly organized Freelance Project Manager to serve as the central operational hub, coordinating all moving parts and reporting directly to agency leadership.
Role Overview
We are seeking a master organizer who understands how digital marketing agencies operate. You will not be executing the technical work; instead, you will be managing the people who do. Your core responsibility is to take project briefs from leadership, assign tasks to our freelance pods (Tech, SEO, Ads, Creative), enforce strict deadlines, perform quality assurance, and aggregate performance reports so the CEO has a clear, top-down view of all agency operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Management: Set up and manage project boards (via ClickUp, Asana, Monday, or Trello) to track every active client campaign, website build, and SEO audit.
- Team Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for all freelance developers, designers, writers, and ad specialists. Ensure they have the assets and briefs they need to execute.
- Timeline Enforcement: Anticipate bottlenecks and aggressively manage deadlines to ensure all client deliverables are launched on schedule.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Perform high-level reviews of completed work (e.g., checking a landing page for broken links, verifying ad copy matches the brief) before it is sent to leadership or the client.
- Aggregated Reporting: Collect weekly updates from the SEO and Ads teams, consolidate the data, and prepare clean, executive-level summaries for the agency owner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Agency Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of project management experience specifically within a digital marketing, creative, or web development agency.
- Digital Literacy: You must fluently speak the language of marketing. You need to know the difference between a backend database issue, a Google Ads CPL spike, and a broken WordPress plugin.
- Tool Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in modern project management software (ClickUp, Asana, Notion) and team communication tools (Slack, Teams).
- Extreme Ownership: A highly proactive problem-solver who doesn't wait to be told what to do, but rather sees operational gaps and fixes them.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹3,500.00 per hour
