Job Summary
SuryaPrabha Solar is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation compliance, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, manage statutory compliance, and support management with financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and supervise accounting staff.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Verify and approve accounting entries, invoices, and payments.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com).
- CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Solar, EPC, Construction, or Manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.
